Misty Morning Cottages

This place is certifiably one of the best places I've ever stayed. Price was incredibly fair. Joe, one of the owners, was incredibly warm, welcoming, and inviting. The view of Mt Kineo was out of this world (especially at sunrise) and if you enjoy stargazing while listening to loon calls this place has it! We stayed in the fall for reference so it was a gorgeous stay not too far from Greenville or Jackman.

We just got back from a 2 week stay and Misty Morning Cottages (our 4th year here) and as always it did not disappoint! We traveled with our granddaughter and our dog and we all had a fantastic time. The cottage was very clean & comfortable with all the comforts of home. The view can't be beat and the sunrises and sunsets are beautiful! Misty & Joe are amazing hosts! They both work hard and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We always feel at home at Misty Morning Cottages. The cottages and the Moosehead Lake region are all you need for a fun and relaxing vacation. We already booked our trip for next summer and can't wait to be back. I would give ten stars if I could!

The cottage we stayed in was perfect for two people. The location is steps from the lake and beautiful. It does sit close to the road on the back side of the cabin but you don't really notice road noise on the lakeside. The cottage was clean and stocked with all the basics needed. You show up with yourself and your food and you're all set. Joe and Misty are great hosts and are ready to assist in anything you need. Would definitely return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the lovely cottages by the lake, which offered stunning views. It was surprisingly quiet despite being near the road, especially since it was the middle of the week and there weren't many people around. We stayed for two nights, and the cottage had everything we needed. Although we didn't use the kitchen, as we dined at local restaurants, it was well equipped. We would definitely stay again!
