Best place to stay. The hosts are very accommodating. My husband and i have gone here for many, many years now. We also rent a pontoon right up the river from Captain Roger! Great to deal with as well. Highly recommend!
My wife and I have been coming to Gray Ghost Camps for a good number of years.||Amy and Steve are the best hosts and make you feel right at home.||Wild life is plenty (if you don't mind searching up in the logging roads). Also at times right off the main road.||The nights are quiet and very dark and most often your neighbors in other cabins are super friendly. || The cabins offer everything you'll need and quite comfortable..||If you are looking for a peaceful and adventurous time away you can't go wrong.||Andy and Carol Imperato||(All the way from Florida)
We booked a cabin in the early afternoon of the night we stayed. Not many rooms left available in the area and they were more expensive than here. Got a message a few hours later saying that a larger cabin was still available and asked if we wanted to upgrade to the bigger cabin for no charge. We said yes and it was very nice of her to offer that. The cabin was great. Good location in Rockwood right on the Moose River. The price was very good. I would love to stay here again when we come back up to do some ice fishing. Our cabin was the Grizzly King, I believe she said that it was their newest cabin.
I have been coming with my mom and kids for 10 years now and we absolutely love this place. The owners are incredibly friendly (including entertaining my daughter with their chickens), the housekeeping services are awesome (and the woman who cleans is fantastic)! The location is perfect and the amenities they have for the kids are top notch. We love the paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, tunes, and life jackets available for use. 10/10. I would highly recommend.
