Mission Beach Resort

I just returned from an ice fishing trip. It was an amazing trip. Geoff put us on the fish. We lost count on the number of fish we caught over our long weekend. Highlight of the trip was the beauty in the attached photo. It hit on a rattle reel at about 2:30 on the morning we left. If you are looking for a cabin experience over summer, the cabins have been updated and are all very nice and comfy. Great place for kids! The beach area is fantastic. Summer fishing is always A+. It's an easy drive from the metro area. As a seasonal camper I make it every weekend.

From morning coffee to evening s’mores the view is gorgeous and unobtrusive. Swimming was refreshing, floated on the anchored Lilly pad watching the wisps of clouds go by, listening to the loons. Go down the road for berry picking or minutes to mini golf at pirates Cove and more.

This resort was exceptional. The cabins were all furnished with kitchen amenities, including cookware, silverware, nice dishes, etc. The knotty pine walls and floors were gorgeous. The cabin was decorated with sweet checkered curtains and very nice bedding. Our cabin on the water was literally right on the beach. We could’ve fished from our window if we wanted to. The sunsets and sunrises were gorgeous. Kayaking was a blast and the boat we rented was, pristine. Beautiful Pontoon boat for our family. We will definitely be back this way. The owners were extremely accommodating and attentive, and when I needed to have a meeting in private they let me use one of the empty cabins with good Wi-Fi. Very nice family there. Highly recommend.

Stayed at Mission Beach via their sleeper fish house. The owners are extremely accommodating and responsive to all of my feedback / requests. Geoff did an awesome job putting us on fish and making sure we were set up for a comfortable stay. Its not an overly large space but it has 4 bunks that were super clean and far more comfortable than i thought they would be. They've got power hooked up so all good for electronics, etc - makes a huge difference. The gas burners were clutch and was able to cook, boil water for coffee, etc etc. Overall really fun and think its very solid value for your dollar.

My family had so much fun staying here the past week. Our cabin was right by the water and it was such a beautiful view to wake up to every morning. The new owners are great and have done such a great job cleaning the place up this summer! My kids loved the playground, playing in the sand, and exploring in the shallow water. This is a perfect place to swim with kids, and the lake has lots of fish to catch too! 🐟 We plan to make this an annual trip.
