Lake Edward Resort

This is our third year up at Lake Edward Resort as a family and it is always so wonderful. We go with my whole family, 18 members, and always have the most delightful time. While the cabins are definitely older and are in need of some TLC, Randy's customer service more than makes up for it. If you need anything fixed on your cabin Randy is there to fix it up ASAP. The view and the beach are like none other and Randy's care for the property is wonderful to see. He is out on the beach at least once a day, everyday cleaning it up, getting the seaweed picked up, and stirring up the water to ensure no algae or gross stuff is near the shore. There is always a beautiful green space where we are always playing yard games, catch, bocce ball, or setting up sun tents and playing cards underneath.

From the beautiful immaculate cabin to the guide services and the beautiful lake, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come again exceeded (by far) all of our expectations Thank you for the hospitality!

The cabins are cute like a ma & pa resort. The main house has a lot of junk and junk cars piled around it makes that area look a bit trashy. Poor impression for new visitors. Broken wood fence at entrance looks a bit unkept and clutter with a bunch of junk by the garbage bin kinda nasty. There is an unusable ice machine makes certain areas of this resort look in need of clean up.

Really nice resort, the cabins are clean and modern the staff seems friendly and they are willing to help you when you need it. The shoreline is beautiful.

Lake Edward Resort is a great resort which I've been going to close to 20 years since it's a family tradition which has lasted almost 40-50 years but it has some flaws which if corrected, would make it the best ever resort in northern Minnesota. Starting off with the good, the cabins are very nice; they look, smell, and feel great. There's a couple docks, a small playground, a volleyball net, and a couple nice fire pits. I believe there is a pontoon that can be rented, motors can be rented too. Firewood also can be bought. The lake doesn't have much fish but not the worst. The cons are things related to lack of matinence and activities. There used to be a game house you could go in and play ping pong, basketball hoop shooter game, and some other things in there.
