Midway Gulch Campground

We stayed here as a family of 6. The cottage was perfect, clean, well maintained and close to everything we needed. Owners were pleasant, timely and exceeded our expectations. The cottages were a Very quiet location on weeknights. The town really shuts down on Mondays which limited our activities. Would recommend Midway Gulch for a great place to stay.

Great experience for a weekend getaway. Owner is very kind and easy to work with. Cabin rentals are very fair priced as well.

Stayed at the Eagle Nest cabin with 6 friends. Enough space for 7. Great location for all kinds of activities in the Yankton/Louis and Clark Rec area. Cabin is neat and clean. Felt private. Beds were firm, could use and updating but good enough. Nice private fire pit on site. Camp ground looked crowded but we did not use that area. Would stay again because it’s good location and accessible to the area. FYI - there is a Virgin Mary shrine adjacent to campground. The church bells ring on the hour every hour during day light.

My dad, brother and I stayed over Father's Day weekend after a day of fishing. We stayed in the "Bear's Den" and the cabin was beautiful. The cabin is a wood cabin, with great amenities. The cabin was very clean. It is complete with all kitchen equiptment, gagets and utensils, a comforatble queen size bed and a good quality futon. The bathroom is nice size with a big walk in shower. Outside has a nice cement patio with lounge chairs, a picnic table and grill. The established trees make for a beautiful canopy with lots of birds activity.

We stayed at the Eagle's Nest Cabin which was spacious enough to house and cook for our large family. It was in excellent shape and was close enough to the Lewis and Clark Rec Area to go back and forth several times a day. The cabin has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, grill, deck, outdoor seating, cable, two bathrooms and enough bedrooms, couches and space for a family of seven.||||Wi-fi was spotty downstairs but was strong upstairs and out on the deck. The neighbors were friendly and not loud - at least not very late.||||The staff there made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful. I recommend this campground to anyone not wishing to stay in the Rec Area itself or needs a larger accommodation. Thanks.
