Comfort Inn Yankton SD

Great location! 1 block off the main drag. 5 min from the downtown area, close to college campus.Room was very clean and safe. Great air quality for someone with allergies and asthma. The staff was sincerely top notch, friendly, helpful, kind, and quick to respond. It was quiet even though state hockey teams were in the hotel. Will definitely stay here again!

The desk manager on duty the night I arrived was very friendly and accommodating and was helpful regarding my stay in Yankton. This was very important for me and I was incredibly pleased with the service and reception I received. The room was very clean and well appointed and the bed was VERY comfortable, and afforded a good night's rest. Breakfast the following morning was also very nice with a large selection of quality items including eggs, bacon, waffles, muffins, yogurt and cereals. Between the dispensers in the lobby and the dining area there were 4 different coffees to choose from and they were always hot and fresh. The hotel was clean and fresh throughout. I am often critical of poor service, the lack of amenities and general condition of hotels, BUT THIS HOTEL AND SERVICE WERE EXC

The thermostat seemed to be purely for psychological purposes. We stayed 4 nights, and the room stayed pretty consistently around 71 degrees. However, this is much warmer than we like for sleeping, especially with a hot pillow-top mattress and thick blankets. Every night, we’d set the thermostat a little lower. By the last night, either the heater or at least the fan would turn on every 10-15 minutes even though the temperature was supposed to be set at 65 degrees. We eventually turned off the heater altogether. Even then, the room stayed pretty warm from the rest of the building. ||As for the rest of the experience, it was fine. The room was pretty large for a Comfort Inn but maybe a little expensive for a smaller town like Yankton. We ended up cancelling our last night so we could visit

Close to Broadway so you have an easy trip to anywhere in town. Breakfast as always is great. Clean, convenient and friendly helpful staff. Only drawback is many DirecTV channels on the guide were "error not included in this service".

It was a great location & very clean, warm rooms & friendly front desk. Provided us a snack bag, which was a nice surprise. And the breakfast was really good, except I wish for on the wknds, they adjusted their hours from 7-10am like most hotels do, instead of keeping the same hrs for the wk, which was 6-9am. So no sleeping in a little for us. Other than that, good hotel.
