Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Pecos

I had an amazing experience at the Microtel Hotel in Pecos, TX! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. I especially want to recognize Jasmine at the front desk—she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, patiently answering our questions and making sure every detail of our stay was taken care of. Her professionalism and friendly attitude truly stood out and made a lasting impression. The rooms were pristine—spotlessly clean, fresh, and very well maintained. It’s clear that the entire property is cared for with great attention to detail, as everything was clean and in excellent condition. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Rate room clean, pleasant, check in/ck out fine. Truck stop not very pleasant & very limited dinning only fast food close by & traffic congestion a challenge.

It was a mich larger room than expected. Full kitchenette, full-size fridge, separated rooms. The staff was very friendly, rooms include breakfast AND dinner, which I didn't expect. It's located at the intersection of US285 and I20, so there's a bit of traffic, but plenty of amenities and stores nearby. Good for both weekend trips and extended stays.

The room was filthy, with visible dust and stains that showed a lack of proper housekeeping. From check-in onward, the staff were unfriendly and acted annoyed whenever we asked simple questions. Instead of trying to resolve issues, employees were dismissive and rude. Charging for parking felt like an unnecessary extra cost, especially given the poor quality of the stay. This Texas hotel was disappointing overall and not worth the money.

The hotel room was extremely dirty, with unclean floors, dusty surfaces, and an unpleasant smell. Staff members were unwelcoming and spoke to guests in a rude and dismissive manner. Any concerns we raised were ignored rather than addressed. Having to pay extra for parking only added to the frustration of an already bad experience. I would strongly advise avoiding this Texas hotel due to the poor cleanliness and terrible service.
