Pecos Lodging

This is been my home for 2 1/2 years. The manager Mark is the best thing about the man camp. I wouldn't have left, but he is retiring and just wanted a little more. I will say, I do wish the owner would have let him fix the lot, that is like dodging craters.

First off, I never write a review when staying long term until I have at least stayed 30 or more days.I called Mark ahead of time before getting in to town and asked if he had any rooms open and to check the prices. He said he did and told me the prices, I replied with on my way. Now here is the actual review. The location is pretty much the same as you would expect anywhere in Pecos, Texas. It is out in the dry lands, in an oil field town. The room I am in was very clean, included dished, towels, everything minus your soap and food. The stove was broke when I first got here. I let Mark know and he was at my room to fix the issue in about 5 minutes. The laundry is a coin laundry, not free as other have said. But then again, when people tear up the machines; the facility is left no choice b

Manager Mark was very accommodating with my arrival. The room was very clean with bed, linens, towels, kitchen, utensils, and plates. The bath room has a large soaking tub/shower combo, with plenty of hot water. There is an onsite laundromat with large washer and dryers. It was a good experience and I was appreciative to have gotten a room.

It’s my home away from home. The beds are amazingly comfortable, the rooms are very clean (I’m very picky where I lay my head). Pecos Lodging offers showers/bathtubs. Ive saved a lot of money being able to cook my own meals. They also have microwaves and Full size refrigerators. I love the fact that I can do my laundry here while waiting in my room. I recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay. It’s convenient, quiet and everyone is super friendly. I’m a female and I travel alone for work, I feel safe with the double lock doors and I absolutely love the fact that no one goes in your room with your personal belongs while you’re not there!

Been here over a year, the room is nice and 10 minutes to downtown. Management keeps laundry room and exercise clean. Any help I need Management is willing to help. Rent is a little high per month but over all its been good staying here.
