Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Holland

Excellent hotel. Friendly and helpful front desk staff throughout the night and morning. Room was very clean. Kind of a different room set up from a typical hotel room but in a fun way making use of different spaces in the room. Breakfast in the morning was very good (bonus points for biscuits and gravy). Great location near downtown Holland and right next to multiple stores and attractions. And for the price you definitely get your money’s worth. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The front desk folks were nice. The room was clean and well set up. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were sufficient. 24-hour coffee is a real plus for early morning fishermen. If I had a criticism, and I don't, I'd say parking is a bit snug if you have a full-size vehicle.

Positive: Free breakfast = money saved. Clean place and nice staff! Place was very easy to locate. Negative: Only thing I didn?t like was when we first walked into the room it smelled like it needed to be aired out. We ran the ac and it was fine after. Hense the 8 instead of 10 rated.

Room was small but clean. Nice that it was pet friendly. Walls were thin though and we heard music and the neighbors a lot. Whatever you do, DO NOT forget to turn the vent fan on when you shower! It set off the fire alarm in our room, the desk didn't answer when we called down, and when we mentioned it on checkout the lady at the desk just shrugged. Luckily the exterior windows opened and we could clear the steam fast and it cut off.

Close to downtown Holland. The counter people were all present and helpful. The beds and pillows were the best ever, hallways were virtually silent. Those are the most important things to me. A bit rough around the edges, not the Hilton by any means, but I'd stay here again.
