Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gulf Shores

Positive: The shower was great and the quality of the towels. The wi-fi was good. Negative: This is an average hotel in it’s category.It’s priced above the quality of the room.

We stayed in a queen suite. It is set up like a small apartment, plenty of room for activities. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Location is perfect if you don't wanna pay beach front prices. 5 minutes from the beach/ The hangout. We stay here every year with no issues.

Perfect location next to the airport. The central location was the big winner and worth 2 stars overall. The breakfast was good for a budget hotel. The room smelled like I don't know what. Dog sick? It was just awful. Tiny room, dark, not remotely clean. I was by myself and just didn't care enough to move or make a stink (ha!), but if it was anyone else with me, no way.

Second year we have stayed here. The place is looking sad now. New paint but old worn out furniture. The chair in our room tilted to one side and the hideabed couch you sank down to almost the floor. The furniture in the common area looks like we're bought at a yard sale. The staff is wonderful and helpful!

Good for a quick visit to Gulf shores and for the price you pay. Clean, convenient location, and helpful attendants. Chinton was great to assist me in setting up the TV in my room and adjusting the thermostat .
