Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Farmington

Everything was great. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfast had a good selection. I love that there is liquid hand soap in the bathroom and nice shampoo/conditioner/body soap in the shower, as opposed to bars of soap. The window seat was a nice touch and gave my son somewhere separate to sleep, so he didn't have to share a bed. It is close to food and Aldis. A great choice if you are in the area

Positive: Cleanliness Negative: Yes. Ran out of select food on breakfast bar by 8:30 . Breakfast bar not kept clean. Waffle makers on but ran out of waffle mix, fruit and yogurt. The cleaning staff was very noisy and rude. I complained to front desk but it continued

I tried this lodging based on Tripadvisor ratings/reviews. For < $88/night, it offers a convenient location to the NYS Thruway, gas, and food. It has all the amenities an overnight adult would need (microwave, fridge, complimentary parking and WiFi, and continental breakfast). Other than needing a vacuum, room 102 was clean with everything in working order. Bed was comfortable and the 2-queen room had modern decor. Service was efficient. My sole complaint is that there was a piercing high-pitched hum emanating from the bathroom. I got a headache from it and had to close the bathroom door to block out the sound--not sure about the source...somewhere above by ventilation??? I did not sleep well. For this reason, I am less inclined to return.

An excellent hotel with a 5 star rating and value. It felt like a brand new hotel. Everything was in excellent shape and clean. Lots of nice features, from the fireplace and well-appointed seating areas in the lobby, to the thermostatically controlled room temperature, the convenient bathroom dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, body/hand wash, and body lotion, the well lit and ventilated bathroom, the spotless room and bathroom, the apparent selection of tv channels (I’m not a tv watcher), the available hair dryer and iron and ironing board, the 24-hour available ice water with lemon slices in the lobby, the friendly staff, carts for luggage, the card key envelop with the WiFi password, breakfast hours, and room number, the shower head and non slip surface in the tub, the full length mirr

The hotel was nice and the price was reasonable for that part of New York. However the service was lackluster and the continental breakfast was horrible. They had no Juice at the Juice Bar. Little choices for pastries and no fruits. The hotel was clean and the room was very nice and spacious for my grandchild to run around.not much food places to eat from Taco Bell,KFC, Dunkin donuts and a 7-Eleven.
