Comfort Inn & Suites Farmington - Victor

The location of this hotel was ideal for our vacation “day trips”. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean; however, our room smelled like smoke from the smokers outside the hotel. We are non-smokers so this was a negative. The breakfast bar was function but not robust. Overall the experience was positive.

Hotel is old and run down. It is dirty and unkept. Stains on the furniture, food crumbs and fruit loops crushed in the hallway carpet our entire stay. No housekeeping even when sign left out. the pool and hot tub were so dirty and full of hair and scum we did not let the kids go swimming.

Cannot stay in a place like this if you travel often. This is the second time this has happened and I counted the first as an honest mistake. They basically put whatever hold on your credit card without your consent and this time it was done before the official check in time. So I had a good on my card for the full amount and was forced to also pay the full amount. It is not normal for hotels to hold your full room amount. You just get charged when you check in. There is no need to pay twice. They also have nowhere to call for any issues. You must deal with the franchise. This is coming from someone who frequents this chain a good amount and I will not continue any longer.

We planned a 3 night stay specifically the pool and hot tub. When we arrived we were informed the pullout couch in our room didn't work. Since it was just two of us we said ok. When we got to the room there was a half drank bottle of green tea in the refrigerator that hadn't been cleared since the former guest. The hot tub was out of service the first day we were there so we didn't use the pool either. On the second day the hot tub was working so we got in the pool until we were cold then went to the hot tub. It looked dirty but, stupidly, we got in anyway. When we got out there were small brick colored particles on our lower legs and feet resembling tiny liquid scabs. I thought I was going to throw up! I took pics then we rinsed off our legs in the pool. We showed photos to the desk clerk

This was a great place for a two day staycation with my son . The only issue I had was the Jacuzzi was dirty & needed to be cleaned. The heated indoor pool was just what we needed . The room was perfect , thank you comfort inn ☺️
