Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Daphne/Mobile

Not your typical Microtel experience. The first room had a moldy mattress protector and the fitted sheet had a stain. The door wouldn’t close unless it was locked from the inside. The second room was better- slight mildew smell, flat pillows, and the window was dirty. The elevator malfunctioned three times with us, so we had to take the stairs. The breakfast was pancakes, cereal, or a bagel. Only coffee or milk to drink as the juice machine was broken or just turned off. One vending machine was out of order and the other only had 2 items in it. We normally love staying at Microtel, but this is one that is poorly managed and should be looked into by the corporation.

Nice big room, could be 5 stars if things were fixed. There is a hole in the floor under the carpet. Lines through the TV screen. Missing smoke alarm and lamp shade. Broken outlets. Leaking faucet.

This is a basic hotel that allowed us a good rest. The room didn't have hair dryers but the desk clerk said that they were ordered. The room didn't have a closet or drawers but it did have 2 pegs to hand clothes on. ||The breakfast was basic but very good "make your own" pancakes. The hotel has a very steep driveway which may bother some people. A lot of construction workers stay here.

Positive: Nothing everything was horrible Negative: No the hotel was filthy the room smell so bad the blankets were humid the restroom was dirty and moldy the gave me a room connected to another room which I hate it I couldn't sleep the whole night

We have stayed here for the Battleship 12K run for about 4 years and the facility has gone down tremendously in the past year! I was shocked! While the check in staff was very nice and helpful the floors were dirty, rooms and lobby, the shower/tub had mildew along the grout lines and soap scum from poor cleaning. There were urine stains on the floor around the bottom of the toilet. The hair dryer didn’t work and the room smelled very moldy and stale. Seems there have been no updates or upkeep in the past few years. We will have to find another place to stay from here on out.
