Eastern Shore Motel

This was a perfect overnight stop with clean simple rooms, a good price and a safe location. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They also accept pets which was much appreciated.

1. Found 2 cockroaches upon entering. |2. Room reeked of cigarettes. |3. TV only has 1 channel (Religious channel)|4.Needed two more towels for a family of 4 and was given the response of “We don’t have any more towels”|5. Other guests were using the public staircase as a drying rack to dry their clothes.|6. Bathroom door’s lock is broken.|7. Shower gives a good 30 seconds of hot water before running out and giving cold water instead.|8. Only 2 tiny pillows per bed. |9. Whole outside smells like garbage (Probably the dumpster 3 feet away from the rooms)||The best part was leaving the place. Thank god i’m only passing by.

Honest Review: To preface, I’m a woman in my young thirties traveling alone. Some of these comments on this motel were from almost a decade ago. I felt like this place could use an updated review of the experience I had, which may NOT be what other people experience. This one was mine. Key points: I enjoyed the attentive and polite staff, and I was not bothered by unexpected cleaners or other guests. My parking space is immediately outside my door. The Waffle House (24 hours) is 20 feet away. There were ZERO bugs, and it is currently July as I write this. Well let me just say if your a pretty white girl I wouldn't stay here, front girls are rude, like so rude. They will accuse you of trying to "seduce" the workers that stay there. Ended up leaving bc they were so rude.
