Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clarksville

Horrible. Rooms are dirty. Found a half eatten candy bar in the ice bucket. Faucet handle fell off while trying to turn on the water. Shower pressure was way too strong and impossible to control the temperature. Ac worked so that was nice. But definitely a cheap hotel. Do not recommend.

Positive: Location was convenient Negative: We are request customers when it comes to Microtel inn and suites. We’ve never had a bad experience until Clarksville. Looks nice from outside, no a/c in lobby or corridors. The bedding actually stunk we left after only 5 hours bec of the smell. Mold

Pro:|Looks like they’ve acquired another chains property as the rooms are large and spacious. Great parking, quiet. Near restaurants. Super comfy bed and pillows. Microwave and 3/4 size fridge with separate freezer compartment in room, lovely surprise. ||Con: |Nice bones but they are letting it fall apart, on a fast downhill slide. Our bedside electrical plug didn’t work, nor did the overhead/entry light. Our entire desk was coming off the wall, literally, sloping downward and the wall mount bolts were fully exposed and barely hanging on, very dangerous. Three areas of wall paint worn off in room, a quick and easy fix but ignored. Main hotel hallway dirty. Breakfast area/lobby restroom was closed/out of order at check in and still at departure. We just checked out of our room. We arrived late last night after a long day of driving. The front attendant is so kind and attentive. Beds were very comfy. Checking out was a breeze.

Definitely need to work on accommodating workers who stay there and want the breakfast but leave an hour before breakfast is officially served. What's the point of having the food out, if I can't get it? My crew leaves an hour before it's "served" and the front desk guy was kinda rude when informing me. Normally don't leave bad reviews but I hope we don't stay there again. Also, the maid who cleaned my room, touched my stuff and moved my things around. I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to do that too.
