Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Altus

There was hair in the sink. Two tissues in the box with no spares. No coffee period at breakfast. A toaster but no bread. Cream cheese but no bagels. Overall to make it worthwhile they should really cut the price.

Booked 4 nights for my employees. One of my guys forgot it was checkout and left his stuff in the room and we went to work. The front desk calls at 3pm to say they’re charging us an extra night if we don’t get his stuff out. They charged me $154 anyways and we rushed there from working in Childress, TX. We were going to stay there for 3 more weeks but they didn’t care if they lost a paying customer because $154 was more important to them than $1752.00 ($584/4nights). What a rip off! And horrible business practice.

BED BUGS!!!!! I put my employees and myself in this hotel from December 26th til January 1st my employees went home and I had to stay a few more days. I swapped to a single bed once all my employees left. I was laying in the bed and found bed bugs because I felt like something had bit me on my back. Hotel offered to swap me to the room next door and I did not feel comfortable staying at the hotel anymore. All they did was refund the night. Now I have to wash and super dry all of my clothes and hope I don’t carry them with me home or to another hotel!! They did not care !

I stayed at Microtel, and overall my experience was pretty good. The rooms were definitely the highlight of my stay—they were clean, comfortable, and well laid out. The bed was cozy, and the room felt like a nice place to relax after a long day. Housekeeping did a good job keeping everything neat, which I really appreciated.

Positive: It was the nicest of the ones around it. Negative: No, it was great.
