Metolius River Lodges

We have been staying at the Metolius River Lodges at least once a year since 1999. We absolutely love this place. The peacefulness of the Lodges, the river, and the surroundings are so relaxing whatever the weather happens to be. We've walked up and down the river many times. Vickie and her staff through the years have always been very friendly and helpful. We appreciate that they keep the cabins rustic, very clean and comfortable. We hope to have many more "get-aways" in the future. Happy trails! Sharon & Gary

We stayed in Serendipity #3 and it was such a cute cabin just a few feet from the river. The bed was comfy and the unit was super clean. The area is quiet and relaxing. The folks that run the lodges are super helpful and lovely people. There are hiking trails right outside the cabin in both directions. The wifi is slow but it works. We appreciated being able to go off-grid. Next year we will bring bikes. We haven't been to this area since the 80s. Camp Sherman hasn't changed much since development is restricted. It's so nice to go somewhere that steps back in time. We enjoyed slowing down and taking in this lovely area. We walked to dinner all three nights at Hola's the Mexican restaurant. Also, the Camp Sherman store is within walking distance and is packed with food, gifts, and fishing

The cabins are neat and cozy with a small fireplace . Small kitchenette is functional and outfitted with everything required to prepare modest meals. Staff is friendly and accommodating. We intend to come back. idyllic setting is on the river.. Highly recommended.

Can't say enough about this place! It was exactly the quiet getaway that we needed to refresh and recharge. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The staff was very accommodating, and kept us informed of any concerns regarding the wildfires. The river is just beautiful and everything we were hoping for.

It was okay. The lodges are quaint as you would expect. The scenery is beautiful. The river was right outside our front window so that was nice to wake up to. Check in and check out as easy. That being said, the furnishings and finishes are cheap and cobbled together. The beds were just okay, the pillows were absolutely awful. We woke up to fly fisherman 20 feet from our window every morning so we had to keep the drapes closed until everyone was decent. The chairs at the little dining table by the window were cheap old camp chairs, pretty uncomfortable. Parking was not great. The space in front of our unit was blocked the first couple days because the spaces are narrow and 2 big trucks were straddling the spaces. Honestly if every unit was occupied I don’t think there’d be enough park
