House on Metolius

We absolutely love working at House on Metolius. It’s hands-down one of our favorite venues in Central Oregon. The setting alone is breathtaking - tucked along the Metolius River with towering pines, open meadows, and mountain views that feel unreal. Every event there has a peaceful Northwest energy that guests immediately feel when they arrive. Another thing that truly sets House on Metolius apart is the team. They are organized, kind, communicative, and incredibly supportive of the vendor crew. From load-in to final breakdown, everything runs smoothly because their staff genuinely cares about the experience - not just for the couple, but for every professional involved in bringing the day together. Can't recommend the House on Metolius enough! The venue is basically impossible to top- the mountains, trees, river, and the details in the architecture are so beautiful. Being able to rent out all the cabins and have the venue all to the wedding part and family was truly amazing and such a great experience. It was not only a great wedding day, but wedding weekend. The staff is so kind and hardworking. We never had any questions not answered. They go above and beyond for people staying there, and you can truly tell they care about the property. The family feel is so special. They were also extremely flexible with bringing in caterers, drinks, any props, etc. Our photos turned out so good and we will always cherish that day!

Despite the fact we live in nearby Bend, for four years in a row our family has taken a staycation at House On Metolius to mark ‘real fall’ (usually mid November). This place is so special and magical, it’s a real highlight of our calendar every year. We buy a prime rib at Sisters Smokehouse and enjoy it in one of the uber cosy cabins, with a day of just roaming around the property and enjoying the stunning views and unreal serenity. The property is just gorgeous, the cabins are very well equipped and clean and comfortable, and the scenery just has to be seen to be believed. It’s an amazing place for a getaway and some time for quiet & connection.

At times I camp nearby in the National Forest. One can tell when they have a dance or party at the house. You can hear it for miles. I come out here for silence, but that's me. Big plus is that they always quiet down by 10 p.m. 👍 Remember when we all got that courtesy in the woods? Business is good in the summer.

Beautiful setting! Idyllic scenery and the perfect place to relax. The chef was outstanding and able to accommodate dietary restrictions.
