Medora Campground

When you book a site, you only find out what site you get when you arrive. As others have said, the sites are not private and you are very close to your neighbours. If you have a big RV, you will love that all (or most) sites are pull through sites (no backing in to a spot). The showers are free which is nice. The front desk people were friendly. This is a good place to stay if you are coming to Medora to explore the community but not a great space if you are staying there just to camp.

Campground is cramped. Your picnic table is parked on your neighbor's sewer hose. The campground is nothing but weeds and cockleburrs. Trying to take your dog out is a nightmare trying to avoid the worst patches of weeds. For what they charge per night, they should do better.

The Medora campground is in a very convenient location within walking distance of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park visitor center and the cute town of Medora. The campground has various camp sites for tents and both large and small RVs. The campground has full hookups, including electric, which is key in the warmer months. There is also a small camp store, laundry and two bath houses. The sites are tight with little space between them. However, we thought having the full hookups and the central location of the campground were a fair trade-off for the tight space. Additionally, we were gone most of each day since there is so much to do in the area that the small outdoor space by each site didn't really matter.

Location of this park is great, very close to town and close to the National Park. The campground needs a lot of work. Very dusty, they need to gravel the roads, sites are literally on top of one another! Hard to sit at your picnic table because you are right next to your neighbors sewer line! If they would just put a little money into the park it could be nice. Bathrooms are decent, nothing special. Thinking next time of boondocks in the NP, at least there your not right on top of each other

You're stacked in there like a deck of cards,u definitely want the newer side to the west the older part of the campground looked a little sketchy. Conveniently located near the south entrance oh teddy Roosevelt national park. Definitely better than red trail campground. Showers were pretty good,never had to wait for a shower and good hot water,no fire ring,just charcoal grill.
