Matlacha Cove Inn

I was mesmerized by the view while staying at the hotel. We stayed in the Heron Room and I was able to wake up to a water view every morning. The room was very spacey for 3 people. Nice large fridge, oven, cabinet space and bathroom had great HOTWATER! Amazing view of the Sunset and the staff was so kind to us. I highly advise anyone visiting Matlacha…to book with them in advance for the Waterview rooms. Great local food and shops! So bring your boat, your poles and you won’t regret it. My husband and I had essential work on Pine Island so we were delighted to find this small inn on nearby Matlacha. We had a unit looking over the water with a nicely equipped kitchenette and queen bed. There was a pull-out sofa which was very comfortable for sitting but we didn’t need it for sleeping. Great internet, gas grills out on the large shared deck and I believe you can even bring your own boat and dock here too. Matlacha Cove Inn only has a few rooms and it is built over the water so spend extra for the water view units, it is so well worth it. Looking out on the water or sitting out on the deck, especially in the evenings and early mornings is really special. ||There are a few restaurants nearby that you can easily walk to. We didn’t eat out as with Corona virus/our pre-existing

The building is probably from the 1940s. The rooms were very very clean. Easy access. Refrigerator microwave stove table full dinner service in the cupboards pots and pans nice shower and bathroom bed was very comfortable small TV but great since you're not in your room that much. And a fantastic deck in the back for wonderful views of the sunset and a cool breeze.

I called last minute for a room and was placed in an adorable room right on the canal. I can’t say enough about the clean and well appointed suite. You have to see the Alligator suite in the Tiny Village! The decor matched the theme, right down to the tiled kitchen counter! The kitchen includes dishes, tableware and even salt and pepper. The bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed watching the canal from my bed or from the Adirondack chairs on the deck. It is definitely a place that should be visited!

This inn is one of the coziest and Romantic locations that my wife and I have stayed at. Well worth every penny and i HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who values and appreciates the ocean and outdoors. Full access to a Beautiful Deck in the back and our room was very accommodating to our needs. Anyone looking to stay in cape coral dont miss your chance at staying here.. You won't regret it!
