Marriott's Sabal Palms

Great rooms!! One of the best places I've stayed for room setup. The two bedroom is basically a condo you could live in with two kids and have no problem. Separate bathrooms, spacious living room, huge master sweet with a HUGE walk in shower. Outside porch is screened in, has a fan above it, and is accessible from the master bedroom. It's just a great setup....honestly you could vacation for two weeks in this with a family of four and not be on top of each other all day.

Starting with the good. The location is fantastic, really close to WDW and I-4 to head up to Universal. The complex is quiet, aside from the occasional loud curse from a golfer who's sliced off to the right, but we took that in good humour. A bit of noise from the I-4 when on the balcony, but can't be heard inside. Access to the World Center is also appreciated.||Now, unfortunately, the bad. One of our children started getting bites on his skin after being there for a few days, the other child started getting them soon after. After raising our suspicions and tests being done it was confirmed that his bed was infested with bed bugs. We did an inspection on the cleanliness of the room and we found medication (pills) on the floor, lots of hair (not ours), and a plastic bottle under one of the

Beautiful resort with lots of room. Being able to take a 5 minute walk to the World Center for coffees, snacks etc. was a really nice benefit. Housekeeping unexpectedly cleaned up the room and brought fresh towels several times. We were just guests not vacation club members and were very impressed and happy with the overall experience. May have to switch to imperial palms next time for a 3 bedroom unit, but this stay definitely made us look right back to Marriott for our next trip.

Everything felt calm and balanced, from the quiet rooms to the soft pace of the days. The space was clean, spacious, and easy to settle into, like it wanted you to slow down. Mornings were peaceful, evenings even better. Staff were kind in a low-key way, always there but never intrusive. A truly restful stay that leaves you feeling reset.

What a great change of pace from the Marriot hotel tower. Have your own 2 bedroom condo with full kitchen on a beautiful golf course. Very quiet and few children. The pricing is extremely fair and lower than the Marriott tower. If you are into golf, try the attached Hawks Landing. You will be pleased
