Marriott Orlando Downtown

We had a great experience on our trip to Florida.. such a nice weather and great people. Troy Morales was our ballet parking. He was a enjoy to have such a nice young man.

Positive: The valet guys allowed me to not park my car here. Hotel employee were very helpful. Negative: Some pest control issues. I found a few ants in my room and there were Black widow spiders in the pool area.

We had a wonderful stay at the Downtown Orlando Marriott! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable. The location is perfect — right in the heart of downtown with so many restaurants, bars, and attractions just a short walk away. It’s truly a great spot if you want to be close to everything. The lounge was one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast selection was very good, and the evening hors d’oeuvres were delicious and a great bonus after a long day. It really elevated the experience. The only downside was the parking situation. Valet is about $40 per day, and the alternative is paid city parking nearby, which can be a bit inconvenient. The location was perfect for the events we attended at the Kia Center and Camping World, the rooms were nice, and the housekeeper was sweet and consistent. The parking situation is ridiculous. There’s a lot connected to the hotel that they apparently do not own, so guests have to pay for valet or pay the fee to use the lot. The front desk agent was nice but I had an issue upon check in. I had a prepaid reservation through Expedia but I was charged again directly by the hotel. While checking me in, the front desk agent didn’t provide any information about the deposit amount or the total amount she was charging on my card, and their card machine doesn’t display anything before or after you swipe your card. On January 1, 2026, we checked into the Orlando Marriott for a two-night stay. Unfortunately, aside from a pleasant and professional front-desk receptionist at check-in, nearly every aspect of our stay was problematic. Shortly after checking in, we visited the M Club for coffee, where the coffee machine was not working. This issue persisted throughout our entire stay. Later that afternoon, we went to the hotel restaurant and ordered nachos and a quesadilla. After waiting 45 minutes with no update, I had to inquire about our food. Approximately 10 minutes later, our meals arrived cold and unappealing. I informed the waitress, and she took the plates back. Fifteen minutes later, the same plates were returned, slightly warmed.
