Marlee's RV Retreat

Had a great long weekend staying here! Very clean, large spaces, and lots of trees. Great for people like us who travel with pets. Had everything we needed. Grocery stores and restaurants within 10 minutes and the Sherwood Forest Faire (our reason for visiting the area) was only 15 minutes away!! Many renters looked to be staying long-term or living at Marlee’s and everyone we encountered was friendly. WiFi worked well and liked having full hookups.

The park owner was very kind, when we arrived he helped us park our RV. The place is very beautiful with trees that keep the place cooler during the summer in Texas. each RV place has a large space, something I don't see so common in other RV parks. The owner keeps the lawn well cut, also has pay washers and dryers. The neighbors we had were very calm and friendly, making for a good experience. If you have a dog, you can be sure that you will have plenty of space to walk with them. I highly recommend!👍

We lived at Marlee’s for about a year and loved every minute of it. Wifi and cable were included, there are vending machines in the laundry room, quiet environment, lots of space on each lot, and gives you the country living feel even though you do have some neighbors. The biggest difference between Marlee’s and other RV parks is that the RV’s are spread out and not stacked on top of each other like we’ve seen at other places. The layout gives you plenty of space and privacy. Dan (owner) is also really enjoyable to do business with. Always so friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with at all times.

Visiting friends but felt compelled to rave about the park. It's surprisingly quiet and secluded as I thought for sure they would get Hwy 290 road noise. Very spacious slots. I've been mostly in the afternoons and it's a mix of cars. I would definitely check this park out. Conveniently located off 290, close to Lexington, Elgin, Mcdade, Bastrop. Convenient store located nearby.

New Park, it nicely done. It's easy to get in & out of. The roads are big enough for 2 cars to pass. Spaces are decent size. There's a laundry room w/vending machine. The manger keeps up with the grass. No signs of snakes! That's a plus. Well lit. There's a cow pasture on both sides.
