Mark Twain Inn

We just had a great stay here this weekend! It’s a cozy inn in an historic building, right in the middle of Jamestown. It is operated much like an AirBnB, as guests are provided their own keys and the hostess is not on site all the time. The hostess was very gracious, and easy to contact. The accommodations, while retro, were quite nice - our bed was more comfortable than the bed we had the night before in a premium hotel chain. Coffee service, snacks, and a local phone are provided in a shared lounge. Central heat/air was perfect, and the shower was amazing - very hot and lots of pressure! We would definitely stay again at this hidden gem.

Spent the night here recently. Mid-town Jamestown. Amazingly clean rooms and interior. Cozy sitting room with coffee and tea, available (No Ice.) Very retro and simple accomidations- TVs, NO Internet - Had my CradlePoint, though! Cash only. Comfy beds, as well. No Smoking, but outside sitting area available. Owner/Manager is super kind and informative! Def recommend!

Clean, quiet, modest with a very thoughtful accommodating owner. Dont go if you need all the conveniences of the chain hotels such as big flat-screens, bedside outlets, ice, etc. But if you are just in need of a clean private bed and bath at a very reasonable price, you shouldn't be disappointed. Will plan to stay again when in the area.

I had a great experience here. It's a wonderful little hide away. The owner, Ms. Sherry is fantastic! She was very knowledgeable on the history of not only the building, but the town in general. She really had a way of making you feel at home. I highly recommend.

Small, old school quiet. Cash only. It's in downtown Jamestown and decent access. Not a lot of parking. The room are old but clean, reminds you of a BnB. I've been twice. I like the price the friendly service. Candy!!!!!!! They have candy. It's just 20 min from east fork.
