The staff at the Maritime Hotel, at least those we interacted with were very helpful. As for the rest of the experience, it was somewhat underwhelming. Things started rough and never managed to rebound. The first mixup occurred before even reaching the property. A mixup with the shuttle left us waiting an hour and a half at the airport. The facility sent an Uber, so this was a nice attempt at service recovery. Once at the hotel, check-in was delayed because our room wasn’t ready (5p.m.). We were eventually moved to a different room. The rooms are different. Some area for improvement are the lighting and the loudness of the A/C. Another oddity of this room; the bathroom has no door! It felt a little like being in a public restroom at JFK. There were many things to like here. The room was

Positive: They gave me a room on 2nd floor and I asked for a change and they put me on the top floor. They say it’s PH but it’s nice but not really PH. Just normal room. They have a new bar area. It has drinks and food. Chicken sandwich and fries quite good. Negative: You can’t sit on balconies. They are standing room only People at bar loud and swearing - but bartender handled them well.Parking is $19. It’s a regular parking lot. Bathroom didn’t seem overly clean but room has fridge and otherwise nice room.

FALSE PROMISES and NOT ACCESSIBLE to wheelchair users at all. We booked online with the understanding that the handicapped room had 2 queen beds. Upon arrival and 5hrs of waiting for our room to be ready, we were met with a king bed. The manager argued stating we were wrong in stating that the accessible room had 2 queen beds, when that was listed on both the Marriott app and the website. Our emails with screenshots of this were ignored and so were we. No compromise was made. No compensation was received. Their solution…a pillow and a blanket on the concrete floor of the room. We were also told prior to arrival that accessible transportation to the cruise port would be provided and available. This is FAR FROM right. After waiting for over an hour either hotel staff telling us a van would

It’s a pretty hotel, no major issues. And I appreciate the airport shuttle being an option. I didn’t have any issues with check-in or the room. It just seemed like maybe they were understaffed or the staff all just seemed exhausted. Maybe they’re still figuring out how to run the dining area, but there was basically only one person serving the entire floor for dinner (and one person serving the bar). And there were only 2 people serving for most of the morning breakfast time. So dining resulted in not getting my order taken until at least 20-30 minutes after sitting down… forgetting to bring me a menu or silverware… having to ask someone for the bill a few times. I think it’s probably and understaffed problem… and the waiters seem exhausted from trying to serve everyone, so I don’t think t

Stayed here for one night before a cruise. This hotel is just not conveniently located. The staff weren’t rude, but they weren’t really helpful and didn’t seem to even know much about the area. There aren’t really any restaurants in the area, and I never saw any bartender at the bar. You will have to Uber everywhere from here. I will say the option to book a cruise port shuttle for $20 was nice. The room itself was clean, and the hallway was quiet. Based on the weird location and staff this hotel isn’t worth the $230 I paid. I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.
