Review: 1/5 - Absolute Nightmare Stay I would strongly advise anyone looking for a place to stay to avoid Marinwood Inn & Suites at all costs. My experience was unprofessional, unsanitary, and incredibly frustrating. Unprofessional Management The service here is appalling. I called ahead to ask a few simple questions regarding a late arrival, and a staff member named Kevin was beyond rude. Instead of being helpful, he repeatedly hung up the phone on me while I was still speaking. Now I see why they have only had one halfway good review in the last 3 years. I originally set a reservation here with Booking.com. I e-mailed the hotel (through Booking.com) a day in advance to request to move the date back 2 weeks. They never replied to this e-mail. Are you in a professional relationship with Booking.com, or are you not? Finally I had to call them the day of reservation and they basically said it's Booking.com's problem and not theirs. Really? You couldn't say to the customer "Yes we can help you, what date would you prefer?" They were just happy to have the credit card number and blow me off. Yes, they will charge me for the night. Just stayed here. What a crazy experience. I get there and the man in the office says that he now needs to be paid $5 CASH for a booking fee. Yes, he asked for CASH! He is handed a $20, opens his wallet and gives back $15 change. Not the register here.. I cancelled my credit card that was used here because I felt them having my cc number was now unsafe. So sketchy! The unit had peeling wallpaper, and was dirty/dusty. There was a strange crawl space hole in the room with screws in it that were odd. The outlet covers were all wonky and bad. This was terrible. I work up and checked my car several times per night.

I made a reservation through Expedia when I called the hotel to confirm my reservation they were very rude to give me information on my room and told me to only get information when I arrive when I live far away. The room smelled like cigarettes and refused to give me a new room and declined saying it doesn’t smell like cigarettes. Do not stay here worst experience ever
