Courtyard by Marriott Novato Marin/Sonoma

Staff was universally very kindly to us. Room was in great condition. Loved the balcony and 4th floor views of the hills. Soaking in the bathtub with Marin water is so much softer than the super hard water in San Jose where we live. Avocado Toast and Egg Sandwich breakfast was delicious! Everything was good. My wife and I are very likely to come back again. You're only a 90 minute drive from home, but feels like worlds away from Silicon Valley.

Lifetime Titanium Marriott member. Stay Nov 27. Return trip over Thanksgiving.|Pros: Friendly staff, clean hotel, comfortable beds, and the Bistro food and service was great. Easy on and off freeway access. Free bottled water at front desk. |Cons: SNA upgraded room assignment. Rm 225. They accepted a SNA but assigned what seemed like one of the worse rooms in the hotel. 2nd floor extremely obstructed view. I did not find the room acceptable for a SNA. The view that filled most of the window top to bottom and only about 15-20 feet away was the tile roof of the covered front drive though. The only other option they said they could give was a view of the back of the Safeway store in a hearing-impaired room. I don't think the room they gave me was used much. Positive: The staff read so kind. We came with a large group and they were proactive, responsive, and seemed to genuinely care about our needs. Negative: Minor, but perhaps more food options. Especially in the morning

I always choose this hotel when I'm visiting family around here. Rooms are really spotless and comfy. The staff is super nice. The hotel is right next to everything you'll need while you're in the area. The only downside is you have to pay $10 for parking, but I think it's totally worth it.

I didn't particularly enjoy my stay here. I guess this is more of a value place. The gym equipment was pretty lacking, with the elliptical making a terrible noise, and apparently there is so little space the hotel out up a sign that indicates only 1 person can use the weight lifting area at a time. Housekeeping is kinda spotty only cleaning every other day, and on a day I was expecting the room to be cleaned I returned to the room after work at 4 PM to find the room had not been cleaned. At about 5 PM housekeeping came knocking, which was not great, because I was using the room at the time. I chose to check out early and stay elsewhere than continue at this place. Glad I did
