Margaritaville Island Inn

The Island Inn was extremely underwhelming for a Margaritaville property. The property does have an island theme and appears to be recently built or refurbished but no way matches the standard set by other Margaritaville hotels. In the end of the day it was just a cookie cutter mid-rise motel painted with tropical colors and a few refences to Margaritaville hung on the walls. The service breakfast and rooms were all lackluster. Let me start with the room, probably the noisiest room I ever slept or tried to sleep in. Intermittently throughout the night and day there was a humming noise like a motor running or trying to run. Every few minutes it would start, last approximately 20 to 30 seconds then stop. Positive: It was noncarpeted & also conveniently located. The staff was excellent. Also the ambiance was great..made you feel like you were on vacation. Negative: The 2nd elevator was not functional for 2 days of our 4 day trip. And not having an exhaust fan in the bathroom was inconvenient.

We stayed here for my bday last weekend and it was amazing. The front desk staff was amazing from Andayne when we arrived to Ms. Joan when we checked out. It smelled amazing as soon as we walked in, it’s so beautiful in there, the rooms were very very nice, clean with super comfortable beds! It’s in walking distance from the attractions, Old Smokies Moonshie, Paula Deens restaurant as well as many other places. They even have a bday package (unfortunately I found out as I was leaving), I recommend and I’ll definitely be going back!!

We stayed 3 nights (S-W). We were very happy with everything about the hotel. All staff members were friendly, helpful & willing to answer any questions. The breakfast bar if wonderful! The dining area is clean & well attended by staff. We loved the room decor & amenities. The balcony as well as the lobby are great places to relax after a day of walking & shopping. Very handy to walk to The Island shoppes & festivities!

Everything about the island inn is great. Have stayed here a dozen times. Within walking distance to many attractions. Always Super clean! Always fresh air. Never ever seen any bugs. Breakfast is good. Staff are very personable and nice.
