Marclay Point Resort

My family and I stayed here a week ago and it was amazing! There are new owners now, way nicer and more welcoming than Patty and Steve! In the lodge they now sell icecream, pizzas that they make and deliver, and clothing/hats/cups. They work very hard all day and even have a rental pontoon that guests can take out on the lake!! The views are gorgeous, and there is no other resort with places so close to the lake. Everyone that stays here is very nice, and i can tell that people truly enjoy their stays at this resort, because i know i did!! Stay here if you can, it’s worth it!

Do not stay here!!!! The owners are beyond rude. They don’t want to be here. Steve would rather drink beer than do anything around the resort. It's an inconvenience to take care of his campers. They have two bath houses, but don't open them up, because either they are too lazy to clean them and/or to cheap buy toilet paper!!! The seasonal renters pretty much run and maintain this place. They used to have summer help run the resort (a young couple and then Pati's son). They were great. The previous owners were phenomenal. There is a reason the resort is for sale and has been for several years. 1 star is too much for this place. Do not ruin your vacation by staying here.

We have been coming to Marclay Point for several years and staying in a cabin. We come two times a year. The location is probably the best on the lake. The cabin is always very clean. We have always been treated very fairly. Anytime we needed anything Steve and Pat have been there to help. We are so thankful this place is here for us to come and enjoy our spring and fall fishing trip.

We have camped here since 2008 and we loved it here so much that in 2014 we decided to make this our permanent vacation spot. This is our second year as a seasonal and we could not be happier. The resort and owners are awesome they are there to help you in what ever you need. You can not beat the views of the lake anywhere else they are unbelievable. The only regret we have is we did not do this sooner. We have met a lot of nice people that I can truly say they became our friends. My family and I first stayed at Marclay Point Resort the summer of 2014. We had never rented a seasonal site before, but really wanted a place to go where there was a great lake, and we were lucky enough to find an RV site at Marclay Point Resort. The grounds are always mowed and kept nice and neat. There is a view of the lake from pretty much every site, whether you are camping on the shores, or in one of the middle spots. There are a few cabins available as well as the many RV sites. The owners, Steve and Patti have always been friendly and helpful, helping move campers if need be, organizing pot lucks for the guests and just always ready with a smile and conversation!! Since Marclay Point was a 3 hour drive for my husband after work, we opted to change seasonal sites for the 2015 sea
