Manitou Shores Resort

Beautiful place all around, the nostalgic feeling was great. It was many years ago, I stayed with my husband. I will always remember it.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. It is very peaceful and quaint. We love our walks along the water, sitting on the deck overlooking the water and the gorgeous sunsets! The units are always very clean. The owners are very pleasant and accommodating. They make you feel like family. The only problem is you need to book in advance as they are usually filled up and I know why...love this place!

The cabins were extremely clean and perfect in every way. Colleen makes certain that everything is kept that way the entire time you are visiting in the area. We had stayed at Manitou shores many times up until 2007 when my husband passed away. We stayed in the weekend cottages as well as the motel and have never had a bad stay. The sound of the waves coming to shore is just perfect to help you fall asleep. Always sleep with the window open!

I stayed for 3 weeks and it was the best time. The owners are extremely friendly and help full. You are right on the water and not far from anything. The Cabins are very clean and well stocked with anything you need in the kitchen to cook.

Full lake view. Sound of waves. Sunrise. Decks. Fire pit. All cooking stuff ready for you and food. Everything very clean. Little extras in the room too- things to read, watch, see in community (host knows all local activities and outdoor fun to fish, hunt, view wildlife). Great place!!!!
