Campsite 16 is the end of the line in the George Crosby Manitou State Park. There's nowhere to go past it, so the only people that you might see during your stay are anyone who is purposely poking in to check out the site. If you make it this far, you are officially the king or queen of GCMSP for the duration of your stay. Be sure to coronate yourself accordingly. As with all campsites at GCMSP. the park charges you a nominal fee to stay there. But the true price that you pay for campsite 16 is in the effort that you place in getting to it on the hike in. The last mile and a half is a technical trail with mud, rocks, roots, and ups & downs - It is NOT a suitable place to bring a beginner or anyone who would want to be able to easily ditch.
