Malibu Country Inn

I recently stayed at the Malibu Country Inn, and it was an absolutely perfect 5.0 experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed—the staff was warm, attentive, and made check-in effortless. My room had a cozy charm with a touch of luxury, complete with a private balcony that overlooked the ocean and mountains, giving me the best of both worlds. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept better than I had in weeks. In the morning, I enjoyed a peaceful walk to the nearby beach, just a short stroll away, and later relaxed by the pool with a glass of wine. Everything about the stay felt calm, beautiful, and restorative—I left feeling refreshed and already planning my next visit.

This place needs a complete "professional" renovation! The outside is old and disgusting. The pool was slimy. The hotel is NOT on the beach as advertised. You can't even walk to the beach because the hill is so steep that the hotel sits on. For $344 a night I was expecting a lot better! The 5 star reviews are fraudulent. The room had cobwebs and thick dust on everything. It was cold in the rooms. The blinds are broken so it's hard to have privacy. It's the only hotel in Malibu beach so I guess they think they can get away with it. Motel 6 quality for Hilton prices. Don't get sucked in!

We had our company gathering at this location, and everything was flawless. The rooms were spotless, the food was top-notch, and the view was incredible. Huge thanks to the staff and management for going above and beyond to make it a truly memorable night for us.

I really hate to leave a negative review but the staff was so disorganized and unprofessional, planning a wedding block here ended up being a nightmare. A week before my wedding they double booked a bunch of our rooms, including the bridal suite! They did it without notifying me, and blamed me for not giving them my credit card (which I did multiple times, including in person). I only found out they did this when one of my wedding guests called to find out about check in time. They did end up getting some of our wedding block rooms back, but not all, and it was incredibly stressful. They were very defensive instead of just apologizing. Multiple guests also had trouble with them being rude and disorganized, which was quite embarrassing. I think they don't communicate well between staff memb

A great little gem in a great location. Management very friendly and accommodating. I arrived after midnight they made the check-in process smooth and seamless. A short walk to Zuma Beach and Point Dume with great Restaurants nearby. Not many cozy little places like this left in Malibu since Casa Malibu Inn closed.
