Customer Reviews
Awesome to come out here and the drive is amazing, closest part of PCH to LA where it feels very unreal to drive here alongside cliffs and all that, Sandy Dune is also a very nice experience, beautiful at night to see the stars and during the day. It is steep tho so it will be a workout to get to the top!
Beautiful. Breathtaking view. Plenty of parking. No restrooms. Be ware of seagulls. They are agressive and try to take your food when I was there. Also saw dolphins and pelicans enjoying the nature not far from the seashore.
Peaceful. Hardly anyone there. Nice picnic tables and shade trees. We saw orcas and dolphins! Watch out for puddles of tar that washes up. Nasty to get off your feet.
A fairly easy hike with a graduate incline to catch some amazing views of the coast. There's a paid parking lot and porta potties at the start of the Ray Miller trail, or park along the beach and walk into the Ray Miller trail. Watch out for swamp of mosquitos during the rainy season. Definitely need mosquitos repellent. The trail is often quite narrow, so single file only. No dog or bike allowed. Wear hat and sunscreen and bring plenty of water because there's very little shade. You'll catch some welcoming cool ocean breeze as you hike thru the switchbacks. The view is worth the hike.
🐬 Point Mugu State Park is a gem along the California coast, offering stunning ocean views, scenic hiking trails, and a peaceful beach escape. The variety of landscapes—from rugged mountains to sandy shores—makes it perfect for both outdoor adventurers and relaxation seekers. Just watch out for the dolphins; they’re always showing off with their flips, making the rest of us look bad! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
