Leo Carrillo State Park Campground

Great location— not too far from home but just far enough for the hustle and bustle making for a perfect weekend getaway. Bathrooms are hands down the cleanest campground bathrooms I’ve ever seen. Everyone is friendly and doggies are allowed

Great sites, clean campground, most people respect quiet time. Some sites have electricity but no water or sewage hookups. You can dump when you leave and fill your water when you get there.

This review is strictly for wheelchair users - I am a higher level paraplegic with a manual wheelchair. We've been to several campgrounds in Southern California and the Sierras so this isnt anything new. The disabled camped location we were assigned (79) was close to the camp store and bathroom stalls. Both were clean. The reason for the 3 star review is because the entire location was nothing be very soft sandy dirt and and baseball-sized rocks. We were there with other families and I ended up leaving early because of how difficult it was to just move around the campsite in my wheelchair.

Great place to camp with family and friends. 5 minutes walking to the beach. Make sure to bring enough food and drinks. the park have a store inside. There is a Hiking trail and bike ride trail. beautiful place to visit.

We stayed at the campground which is very clean and maintained although each site is a little small. The beach/shore views are spectacular and worth the stay.
