Makahuena at Poipu

Great location for exploring Kauai. Open the lanai doors and enjoy an awesome breeze through the condo and beautiful views of the ocean including sunrises and sunsets. The bedrooms on the second floor are air conditioned for sleeping comfort. Bonus to have two and half bathrooms to accommodate five adults. In condo laundry as well as beach chairs is an extra treat.

We were in building four and loved it. The view is stunning! Our unit was clean, modern, well stocked and the perfect size for four of us. We used the pool and tennis court on the property. The location is perfect - close to Poipu Beach. We would love to come back!

We stayed in unit 4310, which is managed by Alekona. The unit is modern and renovated, with quality appliances throughout, including washer and dryer. The views are incredible from every room in this unit, with expansive ocean views. It is walking distance to Poipu beach and the Mahalepu heritage trail. We kept the windows open throughout our stay, which provides a very pleasant sea breeze.

My wife and I have come to Kaua'i 3 times now, and each time we end up staying here. We've looked elsewhere to stay, but keep coming back. It has one of our favorite spots to watch the sunrise 🌅 and see turtles 🐢.

The units are desperately in need of an update. The outlets are corroded and a little scary. Location is good and price is reasonable for Kuaui. Would it kill y'all to put salt n pepper in the kitchen??!
