Majestic Jewel Inn of Apalachicola

Jon and I recently stayed at the Majestic Jewel in Apalachicola, and it was truly a wonderful experience. This charming bed and breakfast transports you back to a more gracious time, where care and craftsmanship are evident in every detail of the home and rooms. You can feel the love and history in the way the house has been maintained, and it creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere that is hard to find. June and Greg, the owners, are absolute delights. They made us feel less like guests and more like old friends who had come to visit. They live upstairs and are available if you need anything, yet everything is set up to be comfortable and self-sufficient. That balance made our stay especially relaxing. The Majestic Jewel Inn far exceeded every expectation we had. This charming and gorgeous restored historic home is in a perfect location, with wonderful hospitality and every amenity you could think of. It is close to so much beautiful nature, unique historical sites, friendly people, and delicious food. We loved our stay in the Ebony Rouge suite, it was comfortable, cozy, and indescribably peaceful and relaxing. Thank you to June and Greg for letting us ring in the new year with you all. Spent a couple of days on a scenic getaway exploring Apalach & surrounds, and chose Majestic Pearl as our home base. There are several historic lodging choices in town, but we definitely made the right choice! This old home is lovingly and meticulously maintained, the spaces impeccably clean, and the atmosphere very laid back and welcoming. Self check-in directions were simple, but we also enjoyed seeing the owners from time to time, chatting and learning about the property. All of the uniquely-themed suites are beautiful. Location is ideal and walking distance to all the local dining & attractions. Ask about the nature trail - it's worth the walk. Will definitely be back!

We spent two delightful nights at this beautiful inn in Apalachicola. The town is charming and the Jewel really is a perfect spot for exploring nearby communities. Great beds, linens, self-serve coffee and breakfast basics. Immaculately clean. The big tub was a decadent mid-vacation treat. The hosts are sweet and attentive without invading your privacy. Highly recommend.

What a gem- an absolute jewel ;-) - this Inn is! June and Greg are amazing Hosts; they truly seem to love what they do and are very good at making everyone feel right at home. The house is just lovely and they have an interesting display about the home's history. My cousin and I stayed in the Green Envy and the queen and daybed were both super comfy. We enjoyed wine on the porch and the sitting room was warm and inviting. We also had a super fun day on their hilariously vintage golf cart! Checking in and out is a breeze, customer service is top notch. Bring your sound machine if you're a picky sleeper, the house is calm and quiet but you may hear people in the shared spaces. We can't wait to come back and rent the whole house with friends and framily!
