MainStay Suites Roanoke Airport

Great hotel! Great service! Great location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the MainStay Suites Roanoke Airport hotel. First impressions are everything! From the minute, we walked through the door, we felt we were amongst family and friends. The front desk staff greeted us with a warm welcome, and Cheri Forrest was extremely helpful in accommodating our request for an early check-in as we have been traveling since the early morning hours to attend a family function later that day. We truly appreciated her welcoming smile and gracious hospitality throughout our stay. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean. The suites are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. It is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants, some within walking distance, and the Valley View mall. W

It was a pleasant experience. The staff was nice and the room was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay there. Miss Shayna was extremely helpful and kind. She is a GREAT asset to your hotel. She made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you to her and everyone.

The facility and amenities are showing their age and lack of upkeep. The suite was dirty, had to ask to have the kitchen floor mopped as my white socks were black after walking around. Carpeting was dirty and worn out. The Fitness Room was terrible, treadmill and Xbike were broken and the universal machine in poor shape, pins were rusted. No pool, had to go next door to swim. Perhaps worst of all the internet went down and the front desk didn't know why or when it would be restored. No wifi for over 2 days!

Had a girls weekend and decided to stay here! We loved it. We always felt safe and secure being it was only us three woman. The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, the water pressure was top tier, and the staff was attentive and beyond friendly. A lot of good restaurants and shopping close by. Will definitely book again!

I have stayed at 3 hotels over the last week on my way home. This by far was the best of them. Kitchen with full fridge. ❤️ Most comfortable bed and pillows all week. My only wish is if they served breakfast. And only issue was the trashbags left in the hallway over night. They made the second floor smell like cabbage. 😬
