MainStay Suites Port Arthur - Beaumont South

The hotel charges me $25 on my company CC because they don't find a clock after I left. That's not enough reason. If you don't have a report as evidence that the clock was there before I first entered the room, then it could be any previous guest, so why my? I'm honestly will never pick any MainStay or other "by Choice hotel" as long as possible.

Been here for a month for work, it’s a Good little spot to stay at rooms are spacious and have a kitchen/stove in them along with a mini fridge dishes and utensils etc. Everyday I come back from work my room is clean, maids do a good job of that. And if I ever have an issue with something which is rare they’re fast to fixing it. Very happy and looking forward to staying again in the future.

The staff at the hotel was excellent. Everyone was friendly and awesome. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I slept without any problems. The bathroom was old and fixtures were a little rusty but it was clean. There is no elevator but it is only 2 stories.

I’m the general manager of a restaurant right down the street and my company paid for me to stay at a hotel for two nights due to the weather because I live out of town. I chose to go view the hotel before booking to see what I was getting myself into. Betzy showed me 3 rooms and she has phenomenal customer service skills. The rooms were all very very clean and welcoming. The smell from the carpet was unpleasant. They clean the carpet but I’m sure from the smell, it doesn’t have time to dry so maybe there is a solution in the future to perhaps just do away with it in all the rooms. Of course there are rooms without it and I chose the suite room with no carpet and it was lovely. I can’t stress enough how clean the rooms were. Very clean hotel and good location. I definitely recommend for long stays. Front desk was very friendly and helpful made check in easy and hassle free especially after a long day of work!
