M Star Hotel Searcy

Customer service was pretty good. If you need a cheep room that is still pretty decent. This is your place. No fancy amenities like room service or breakfast, but it was fairly well maintained and clean for its age. It's not perfect, but I was satisfied.

Positive: The price was phenomenal for the quality of the room. It wasnt anything spectacular...but the bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was super clean, everything worked as it should and the facility in general is well cared for, and in a great location Negative: I wish they'd had coffee available in the room. I'd have been happy to pay a couple bucks more for this. Also, a lamp next to the bed, rather than only overhead lighting, would've also been very nice.

The AC smelled of old musty cigarette smoke, even though it was supposedly nonsmoking room. There was pee already in the toilet. Cigarette burn hole in the blanket. Cheap bed cover wouldn't stay on the bed. Room service was banging on the door at 9:50 AM. Then the owners wife began yelling about extra fees that they didn't disclose previously. Overall a bad, regretable experience. Two stars because at least the AC worked.

The family who runs this hotel are extremely nice and friendly. I picked this location because of price. So with that being said I knew what I was getting. I will say that seeing the google reviews I was under the impression that breakfast was a thing here, so if you see that too hoping for that just know that breakfast is NOT an option here. I’m sure this was something they used to do but it is not anymore. This isn’t a complaint on my end since they provide a microwave and mini fridge in the rooms so feeding my kids was easy it’s just a heads up for anyone who is like me and books expecting to find breakfast. They allowed me to have my pet on site, it was an extra $25 dollars a day but I was willing since I just wanted a safe place for my animal. For what I paid I am very happy. The ro

I had a non-smoking room the first 2 nights I was there. They asked me to switch to a room with just a queen bed and it was a smoking room. Nasty! They would not put me back in a non-smoking room. My pillows and clothes all have to be laundered before being taken in to my home now. The control for the ac (the picture) was above the window and couldn't be seen. I had to get on a stool and take a picture of it to figure out how to get it to work.
