Great Price for a night sleep.. I check in at $55 total.. not sure if it was a weekday special. But it wasn't the $68 as Google says. Cleab old school stylem clean no bugs. Of any kind.. May not look like much. But it's a jewel...

We've stayed here multiple times while fishing on the Nueces River. Super comfortable beds. The refrigerator in the room is almost a freezer. They offer a fish cleaning station, with running water and electric for your electric knives. ||||Bring your own bar soap - they have two in each room, but they are tiny and come from China. If you are a large adult couple, opt for two beds. Only $5 more than a single queen.

Clean room with coffee pot, coffee essentials, bathroom/sink furnished with toiletry items and towels. Instant hot water on demand. Very impressed with the apartment size refrigerator and freezer combo. Furnished with an apartment size microwave and TV/remote control, small dinette table and chairs. Two queen size comfortable mattresses, two pillows for each bed. A/C mini split unit combo, room was comfortable and cool at 77°. Didn't hear any of the guests in the rooms adjacent to our room, nor outside highway or truck noises inside the room. Backup or pull right up to your room, easy access for loading or unloading your vehicle. Friendly suggestions install a ceiling fan in the room for circulation of air and heat. My stay was adequate but there was an odd waste-like smell that became pugnacious. The owners are just the sweetest however! Edit: Wow! I can not believe the distasteful reply. We will take our business ELSEWHERE!

This motel doesn't look like much from the outside but it is definitely a hidden pearl. The rooms are very clean ( even the baseboards and corners were clean) , they had the refrigerator, microwave, flat screen TV with a good cable selection, a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. The real gems were the owner (Mike) and the housekeeper (I believe her name was Diane). I was here for five or six nights waiting for a load to be moved and they treated me like family. There was no banging on the door at 11:00 saying it's time to pay or get out and were very concerned and helpful with getting help for the AC that went out in my truck. They do not serve breakfast but for the 40 to $60 that you save from other hotels in the area you can buy an awful lot of food!
