Luxury Hotel Suites @ 493 King

The location couldn't have been better if you like to be in the middle of things and don't mind walking to things that are a little further away. If you do mind, ride-shares and bike taxis are plentiful from this location. As others have noted, it is very quiet despite its vicinity to bars frequented by local college kids. That's because it has only one window, and it faces a private parking lot. The communication with the management team was good except for one snafu about the parking passes upon arrival. Once i explained the situation and that we had already paid for the passes, all was well. Wow! From the moment we opened the door, we loved the space. We were totally surprised at how nice and how spacious the rooms were. We were traveling with another couple, and had we known the space and layout, we probably would have rented one suite instead of two. However, having all the space and the extra bathrooms was especially luxurious, considering we were en route home after a cruise. The suites were spacious, comfortable, and clean. The decor was lovely, and all the furniture was extremely comfortable. Having a kitchen with an ice maker made the stay even more comfortable and convenient. Great location. Lots of places to eat and an easy walk to historic sites. There are a lot of stairs, so be prepared... The quaint old freight elevator is in the back by the parking. Priced right for area but not the $79 I see on the internet (not sure where that came from). Pretty clean and safe location. Easy to walk everywhere and only a few minutes to the free shuttle!

This hotel is fantastic. Located on King Street, you cannot get any better. We booked a 7 night stay with for 3, including a 2 year old. This hotel is luxurious, spacious, and a incredible value. Our room was a 2 bed, 2 full bath and was basically an apartment. It offered a living room with complete kitchen, including full size stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. ||||We had one minor issue and the support staff was amazing. The owner of the hotel even came to our room to address our issue and it was quickly resolved. ||||You will not regret booking this place!

Clean and very well located right at beginning of the shopping on King street. Amenities and towels are provided as well as hair dryer. Hand soap in bigger container for refills, which makes the eco-friendly guest happy. There was dishes, sugar and teabags no coffees, but coffee machine and filters, toaster, dishwasher detergent and a towel for dishes. We had the Ashley suite which has two bed and bathrooms, all without a window though. Window in main room with kitchen towards King street. TV in all rooms. Had a great stay, although the doors slam were loudly, when used by guests how don't care.....
