Lupine Inn Red Lodge Montana

Pool and hot tub were closed. Absolutely no continental breakfast. No elevator. But yet we were charged same price as if all the pictures were how the hotel looked. Not so. Very disappointing when u travel so far.

Lupine Inn is a comfortable, affordable hotel that is a great base for exploring the region near Beartooth Pass, which is what we did for a week. This is not a luxury hotel, it is an older building that caters to folks keeping an eye on the budget. Breakfast is spartan, but most everyone we met whilst staying were only interested in a cup of coffee, then they'd go a few blocks into town to dine at the many restaurants serving breakfast. The rooms our group had were clean and without issue, I especially liked the thick fluffy towels we were supplied each day - better than some top line hotels I've stayed in, a pleasant surprise to be sure. Outside there is a flock of wild turkey that live in the neighborhood, it is nice to step out each morning or evening to see 6-8 of the birds wandering a

Nasty, run down, We checked our room out before check-in because the place is sketchy Smells. We canceled our reservation and paid expedia for the cancelation. To get to our room you had to go through the breakfast area. The lights were off and it was dark. We were later told by a person that had to stay their breakfast was a bowl of cereal. The place is a dive and needs a serious upgrade. The pictures on the site must be years old

Positive: The price for the day was good. Negative: My wife left her glasses at the hotel. She called, and the owner said, 'We are in a small town; we cannot return your glasses.' They have a post office, and I would be fine if he charged us. He made no effort.

This place is stuck in the 90s. Rooms are basic, and beds need to be replaced. There was black mold in the shower. Some rooms smell bad. Breakfast is only small store bought muffins and white bread to toast. The coffee was good. They kept most of the lights off, so it was very dark and drab. The workout room had equipment from the 80s. This place needs to be completely remodeled and brought up to date.
