Lucky Clover Lakeside River Resort

I cannot say enough amazing things about Lucky Clover Lakeside River Resort! From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel so welcome it’s clear they genuinely care about their guests and the experience they provide. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. One of the biggest highlights for me was how clean and well maintained everything was. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, spacious, and honestly some of the nicest I’ve ever seen at a campground or resort. You can tell a lot of thought and care goes into keeping this place top notch. Magnificent team of staff!! Enjoyed speaking and working with them about everything. Even received a courtesy call on the day of our arrival to let us know when the store would close! Fantastic ice cream and the standard supplies you may forget at home sitting on their shelves. Shuttle for the float was very smooth and our driver explained all the landmarks we would see on the river to know where we were. Will definitely be back! The only improve I would suggest is the dump station setup; you need a little higher area for the camper to be above the waste pipe.

Clover cabin was amazing. Close to the pool and a great view of the lake. Only downfalls were the second bathroom shower was horrid, took forever for the water to heat up. Then it continued to get so hot you couldn't shower. The water nozzle only controlled the pressure and not the temp. Also we were only provided one 13 gallon trash bag for a 12 person house. We were in charge of taking out the trash. Which was quite difficult with our only trash bag being very full. So we used boxes and grocery totes to haul all our trash to the bottom of the hill. For paying a 1000 for 2 days you think a few extra trash bags would have been provided. I was told this was standard for most cabins. Which is laughable, I guess that 30 cent trash bag is really hurting your bottom line. Overall a good stay ju

We just had our first trip to LCC and we loved every bit of it. Easy tow from St Louis. Great signage off 19 so you won’t miss it! The staff at the lodge are amazing and thankful for your business. All the RV slots provide a stunning view of their lake. If you’re a primitive camper, this is your new oasis. They have seemly acres and acres of primitive areas. They have port-o-johns for those folks who are far from the office. They have two private beaches on the Meramec so floating is a breeze. Talking to ownership this weekend, they want to expand RV slots in the future. The general store had a little but of everything including LCC swag. The wood was well kept and dry. We will be coming back very soon! Very family friendly! If your kiddos like to fish, the lake has Crappie!

Great campground! Our spot was secluded, shady and right on the water Very up-kept and clean. The floating process was very organized and easy (caught the bus at the campground and ended our day at the same spot. Which is so nice!) We did the 7 mile float, the river was great! Very pretty! Afew caves and some bluffs you could jump off of into the water. Would definitely recommend!
