Bass' River Resort

Well now, I did a lot of growing up at that place!! In that area, on that river, and with those people. When I first started going there it was a very desirable 🏞️place to go and one of the top ones to go to for that time. (Early '70s) DAVES NOT HERE, MAN ‼️✌🏻 HE WAS THE WHOLE TIME ‼️ And he did " have the stuff" man ‼️ I hope you enjoy the review!!! So roll your old happy ass into Bass River Resort, And tell Ol' bear Bass, To make a long story short, if you like the outdoor wilderness, wet and dry type activities, Incorporated with star filled sky's, sound of "Cool s soothing running water, & the croak of the old so familiar bullfrog, that was only just three hops in front of me as I was chasing him down. We’ve stayed here a lot when my brother had his camper and this was our first time staying in a Deluxe cozy cabin. Very nice and clean. When we arrived the a/c was on and felt amazing on these hot days! Staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed! Very clean resort! We floated on a Tuesday which was so relaxing and peaceful!! We will definitely be booking again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have been coming here for over a decade. There is anything from survival camping to beaufltiful lodges. Most recently had a campsite right on the river and was able to swim right by our campsite. Also the clubhouse has EVERYTHING you'd need if you forgot something or just don't wanna back much. And get the pizza. It has no right being that delicious!

This was a terrible experience and we didnt even make it to stay! I called, very much, in advance to cancel my reservation. I was told during that call they were going to waive the $35 cancelation fee. Silly me believed them... They are now stating there is no way to refund me without charging me a service fee, which is a complete lie. Not to mention, when I was on the phone the person talking to me was very, very rude. The other people that did go on the trip, said they were charged for everything!! There are far better campgrounds around this area that are far more friendly, trustworthy and have similar amenities!

We stayed in Cozy Deluxe Cabin C. It was EXTREMELY clean and well-designed. I recommend adding the linen service to your booking so you don't have to deal with packing sheets and towels. We had great interactions with all the staff. Our float was super fun. I like that it's such a quick (about 1.75 hrs) drive from south city St. Louis. I also loved that I was able to rent a golf cart, which we didn't need but was just fun.
