Loyal Duke Lodge

Positive: Centrally located motor lodge off the main highway, clean very basic room, nothing fancy but clean, check in was easy, continental breakfast items, mostly coffee and cereal available mornings. good value. Negative: Parking is tricky and there isnt enough of it, so you have to walk a bit to reach your room, very small parking lot, room was clean but very basic and they bed was a but lumpy, good for overnight

Over the last few weeks I’ve stayed at3 places in Salida Lazy Duke was, by far, the best. The grounds were peaceful and clean. Staff was so super sweet and helpful even the other guests were so sweet. Hot tub and pool were just what we needed after the long drive. I highly recommend this quaint little spot.

Quiet and beautiful place

Having two large dogs it’s hard finding places to stay either overnight or long-term. Not only is this hotel pet friendly they helped us out when there was an issue with another guests animal. The beds are very comfortable, the room is nice sized and the hot tubs and warm pool make this place wonderful if your trying to relax from a long or stressful day.

The staff are so kind and helpful. The Loyal Duke Lodge made traveling with our pet a pleasure. They made us and our four-legged family member feel very welcome. Great location close to Monarch Mountain. I look forward to staying here again.
