Monarch Mountain

Monarch! & Every single employee here THANK YOU!!! So much, very kind and generous for letting Telluride employees ski on your mountain during the strike that we were going through here :( . Everyone was super kind abd everyone had a smile in there face! Beautiful mountain, the ski shop had everything needed plus more! The candy shop was amazing, the food and service were phenomenal! Many thanks! Definitely returning and definitely did a good amount spending here! Money and time . Thank you so much for having us!

Great mountain overall. Staff was all super friendly - liftees engaged with my kids and helped them have a great time. Only downside is the flats are no joke in several places but if you plan your runs for where you want to end up you can make it without unstrapping your board or having to pole forever on skis. Onsite bar is a great time and the coffee bar is tasty and a great place for a break!

Fun place, clean and well maintained. Staff is great, everyone was helpful. Tubing is a lot of fun for kids, good value for 90mins. Parking is mids, but wasn't a problem this trip but has been in the past.

We were planning on going to our annual Toas ski trip but because of limited snow this year we decided to venture North to CO and Monarch was the closest ski resort to us. We really liked our day there. The check in process was seamless, the renting process was super easy and all staff were very helpful while seeming happy to be there. The food was good and they had plenty of places to sit and relax. The mountain was beautiful with picturesque scenery all around. We will definitely keep Monarch on our list of places to visit for future ski trips!

We were staying in Leadville, which I also recommend. About 1 hour 20 min pretty drive. Snow was low this year across CO, but even though Monarch does not make snow it was not bad at all! Smaller mtn with less vertical, but easy to park and walk, lift tickets are more affordable. They half day tickets and senior tickets 62+
