Lower Goldwater Lake

I love this lake so much!! There was tons of wildlife all around us, they are very clam and very easy to spot. It’s so beautiful and has so much space to fish, kayak, swim, and even just picnic if you wish!!

Amazing weather, very easy to find, tons of room and didn’t have to worry about other people. Theres 2 parts of the lake the upper and lower water was a little cloudy but nothing super gross. Highly recommend for a day trip. Upper lake is available for boats and canoes and lower has a no boats allowed policy. There’s benches to sit at all around the upper lake extremely convenient.

Love that they opened this side of the lakes. You can hike to Upper Goldwater from Lower Goldwater and vice versa. Picnic areas. Bathrooms on site.

Great little lake and park, I heard this was just recently opened to the public. There are public restrooms and a small pavilion. I saw people fishing here as well. Great little trail section and good amount of birds, deer, and other wildlife.

Loved going to this lake a kid, we would walk across the main dam which seemed so big
