Lower Dinkey Creek Campground

This is a beautiful campsite. We visited in August, and the weather was comfortable. While it gets cold at night, having a jacket or blanket on hand is necessary, but you won't freeze. During the day, there's plenty of sunshine. We experienced a thunderstorm one night during a campfire gathering, which sent the kids running for shelter in the trailer. The area is well-maintained, and the restrooms are clean, with no flies causing any disturbances. There's also a water access spigot outside the restroom. The campsites are spacious, and you can reserve spots through the government website, where interagency access holders receive a discounted price. It's advisable to bring your own firewood since the local trees aren't suitable for burning due to sparks that can cause uncontrollable fires.

Place was really nice and fun but soooooo many trees are cut down and laying everywhere, but over all had a good time .

It's great, but I left my Silver pass home. Without the senior discount it's too expensive for me. (One person for $50/night)

So beautiful. So peaceful. Campgrounds are decent. I only wish they had electricity!

Been going here since I was a kid . Always a great vacation spot just a short drive from fresno . 33 dollars a night on the camp grounds clean restrooms great fishing spots .
