Love Ridge Campground

We had a perfect camping experience at Love Ridge Campground! The bathrooms were clean and well maintained, the firepit and provided firewood were very useful, and we loved the string lights and camping table and chairs set up at our campsite. The yurt was warm and comfortable. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful campground, really really nice shared bathrooms and kitchen. Picnic tables and fire rings at each site, sites are clearly labeled and easy to find/get to and aren’t too close together! Just a few minutes from the blue ridge parkway and many different hikes and overlooks. Honestly a perfect location for a family friendly place to stay! We were really pleased with everything about our stay here and will very likely be back in the future! The only thing I would like to see in the future is an improvement to the reservation/booking process. It would be most ideal to be able to book online on my own instead of having to leave a message and wait for someone to get back to me to book a stay. Thanks for a great stay!

What a spot! Right off the parkway and nestled in the trees, this campground is quite the find. Sites are cozy, but with a real sense of space amidst all the hardwoods. The communal kitchen is very well equipped and a fun place to meet other campers. The bathrooms are super clean with very hot showers:). Our family looks forward to many more visits to come! Amazing spot for a mountain get away! So close to town but the total peace of the mountains. Campground is extremely convenient for car camping and the camp house kitchen and bathroom are nicer than our own house! Clean, safe, and quiet. A lovely place to just relax but also close to many trails for hiking, biking and Shenandoah lake. This place is a gem!

The Love Ridge Campground is a fantastic base for exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding areas. It is well-located, well-run, and family-friendly. Our family of four plus dog has had a great experience camping there.
