Cabin Creekwood

We stayed in Oakwood and had a great time. Yes, the cabins are old (so darker inside, undulating flooring), but it had every amenity possible! It was also probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed in! We found it with no problem at all (sat nav took us straight there). Would definitely sleep 8 - 3 double beds and a good quality double futon in one of the bedrooms. Air con worked great and wasn’t too noisy. Location is amazing. Kids are currently playing in the stream before we leave. Thank you!

We stayed in Mountainwood Cabin for two nights and had a very good experience. Cabin is pretty rustic (part of the charm), but had everything we could have needed. Enjoyed the grill and the fire pit. Very relaxing! Ms. Julia checked us in and made things very easy. While we didn't have any specific requests, we had the feel they were ready to help us with anything we may have needed. A very well done, family run business. Easy/close access to Blue Ridge Parkway.

Lovely location. This was our 2nd time going, but the first time was under prior ownership. The directions for which cabin we had were confusing. The property manager said he gets calls all the time from people confused about their cabin location. Sounded like the owners don't want to change things up too much though. Regardless they need clear directions, clear communication about where the cabin is located, and numbers on each cabin (currently relying on blurry photos). Also there's no 4G so we had to drive back and forth into "town" to make calls to get sorted. It was a little stressful, so we left early. We just never felt we could settle in after 1 1/2 hours of trying to figure it out, and this was supposed to be our 28th anniversary weekend. Luckily there's always next anniversary, G

We love staying at Cabin creek! It’s our perfect getaway ! We love all the outside activities that are close by! We love watching the sunset from the close by overlooks! Cabin creek staff is very nice and quick to assist! We will come back soon!
